Replacement Interval: As a central wear part of the seawater cooling system, the impeller should be replaced annually as a precaution. Failure can lead to overheating and severe engine damage. For commercial or intensively used systems, shorter maintenance intervals may be required.

Dry Run Protection: During installation, it is mandatory to use a suitable impeller lubricant (e.g., glycerin) to prevent friction damage (burn damage) during the initial start-up.

Storage: Keep in a cool, dark, and dry place. Maximum storage time before initial commissioning: 5 years.
Practical Tip: Always carry at least one spare impeller in stock or on board for critical systems. Use an impeller puller for removal to avoid damaging the bronze housing of the pump.
