- When water exceeds the acceptable level, the pump is turned on by a rolling steel ball, which changes the pressure on the micro switch
- The AS888 attaches to any of SPX's Johnson Pump Marine Brand bilge pumps through the clip on the "T-slot"
- Handles 6V, 12V, 24V and 32V pumps up to 180W
